La Ruche
La Ruche was an artist’s residence where rent was affordable. At la Ruche, also known as the beehive for its circular structure containing small rooms for artists to live and work. Marc Chagall, Ossip Zadkine, Chaïm Soutine and Pinchus Kremegne, as well as others who called la Ruche home.
